Glueing inspection of the cockpit plate

The challenge

During the assembly of the cockpit plate, the height of the glue bead needs to be measured.

The solution

A laser displacement sensor is mounted on the gluing robot to measure the height of the gluing bead directly on the nozzle output.

Added value

The presence and height of the glue bead is checked during the gluing process. Furthermore there is an optical advantage as with this sensor black glue on a black cockpit plate can be measured on long distance ~500mm. As the sensor has CMOS-technology and Laser-LINE permanent peak-measurement is one of the key advantages
