The challenge

Quality improvement is essential. Sometimes the door-panels are distorted after welding.

Then you need to be able to measure not only accuracy of the X & Y axis (by a vision sensor), but also the accuracy of  the Z axis.

The solution

The sensing method used to ensure correct welding of the door is “Zero” Smart Sensor with a laser displacement sensor. The solution is scalable as depending on the ‘gap’ one or more sensors can be used simultaneously.
