Glueing inspection in the body shop

To be able to benefit fully from the advantages of glueing bodyparts, the glue bead has to be applied in a correct manner.

The challenge

During the inspection of the body piece containing the fuel filling piece, a support is glued into this body piece. The glue bead has to be inspected.

The solution

In the assembly process more and more body parts are glued and therefore to assure the total strength of the body, the glue needs to be controlled in terms of size, position and presence. Our vision systems inspect each body part before it is assembled.

The mechanical strength in the glueing process is increased with easy to use products.
