Flatness inspection of transmission parts

Efficient and stable testing through contactless measurement.

Challenge

Flatness inspection can be done using a contact sensor, however this requires a long inspection time and may in some cases cause a defect such as scratches on the surface of the part.

Solution

To measure the flatness of transmission parts, such as the retaining plate, the plate is rotated on a rotation jig. Measuring takes place with a laser displacement sensor, where the sensor head is mounted on a overhead position.

Added value

By using non-contact sensors, the inspection time is shortened and stable inspection ensured.
